Bennedict Mathurin came off the bench to score 13 points to lead a balanced Arizona effort as the Wildcats cruised to an 80-53 victory over Washington on Thursday night in Seattle.

Arizona (8-1, 2-1 Pac-12) had seven players score at least eight points, including four in double digits. Jordan Brown scored 12, Terrell Brown Jr. contributed 10 points, and Azuolas Tubelis posted 10 points and seven rebounds.

The Huskies (1-7, 0-3) shot 31.3 percent and lost their fourth consecutive game.

Quade Green was the lone threat for Washington, putting in 23 points while shooting 8 of 21 from the field. His teammates were 12 of 43.

Washington, which entered as the lowest-scoring (61 points per game) and worst shooting team (39.8 percent) in the Pac-12, never got hot. The Huskies kept firing away from 3-point range in an effort to catch up, but they hit just 6 of 31 attempts.

Each player in Arizona's regular nine-man rotation scored at least four points.

Jordan Brown also pulled down seven rebounds and used his 6-foot-11 size to help Arizona decipher Washington's 2-3 zone, which was ineffective on the glass. Arizona grabbed 19 offensive rebounds and had an overall rebounding edge of 58-30.

Jordan Brown scored Arizona's first four points of the second half, helping the Wildcats build on a 42-28 halftime lead and prevent any hint of a Huskies' rally. Arizona later went on a 10-0 run for a 54-30 lead with 13:35 to go.

Washington's Hameir Wright had a tough night, missing all eight of his 3-point attempts and finishing with four points.

Arizona led 19-9 after nine minutes and used a 13-2 run late in the half to go up 42-23. The Wildcats settled for a 42-28 edge at the break as they held Washington to 3 of 14 shooting from beyond the arc and 35.3 percent overall in the half.
